How Kennerkreis is built.

A single map of what the platform actually is — three layers (frontend surfaces, the core engine, and the data and infrastructure layer) and the recruiter workspace that sits on top. Use an invitation code from a member or the Kennerkreis team. No open sign-ups — the network is curated by design.

Seven sections: identity, skill matrix, project history, certifications, references, commercial terms, and availability. Autosaved at every step.

Nominate real references
Each reference is tied to a specific project. Referees confirm via secure email token — no self-certification, no LinkedIn endorsements.

A Kennerkreis team member reviews every submitted profile manually. Approval typically within 3–5 working days. Rejections come with a written reason.

Go live — and keep it live
Once approved, your profile appears in the directory. Update availability, rates, and skills as they change. Recruiters contact you directly through the platform.

Skill Matrix Deep-Dive
Every skill rated across four proficiency levels — Basic, Good, Strong, Expert. Grouped by category. Up to 12 skills per category. No self-inflation, no padding — it's all publicly visible and reviewable.
Trust Score
A transparent 0–100 score per advisor, computed from five components: identity verification, confirmed references, project history, rate disclosure, and profile completeness. Plus a freshness layer that reduces the published score over time if a profile drifts — profiles below 50 are auto-hidden from search. Every point is auditable.
Confirmed References
Every reference is project-nested and confirmed by the referee via secure token — not a LinkedIn endorsement, not a listed name, not a self-claim. Real people who really worked with this advisor.
Transparent Rates
Advisors disclose a day-rate bracket upfront. Recruiters know the ballpark before they reach out. No theatrical negotiation, no surprise markup, no body-shop opacity.
Live Availability
"Available Q3" means Q3 — not "available when a recruiter gets desperate." Advisors update availability in real time. Filters respect the current state, not a stale LinkedIn "Open to work."
Dynamic Search Engine
Filter by skill level + proficiency + industry + geography + availability + rate + language simultaneously. Save searches. Re-run them. The directory works like a real search tool, not a static list.

How is verification different from "verified on LinkedIn"?
Verification on Kennerkreis is human and multi-layer: identity check, personal review by the team, reference confirmation by the referee (not the advisor), and ongoing skill-matrix / project review. It's not a blue tick — it's an audit trail. See the verification process
What does it cost?
Everything is free in 2026 — Founding Members year. Billing launches Q1 2027 for advisors (active / booked tiers) and for recruiters (team-seat plans). Pilot recruiters in 2026 get full access at no cost. See pricing
How long does approval take?
Typical review turnaround is 3–5 working days for a complete submission. Incomplete profiles sit in draft until all seven sections are submitted, including three project-nested references.
Do recruiters pay to contact advisors?
In 2026, no — curated pilot recruiters get full access free. From Q1 2027, recruiter access is team-seat licensed. Advisors are never charged per contact and never lose access to their own profile. See pricing
What geographies does Kennerkreis cover?
Every advisor on the platform is based in the European Union, Switzerland, or United Kingdom. No off-shore re-routing, no undisclosed subcontracting. If a profile is on the directory, the advisor is physically in one of those markets.
